Enfield Assessment and Diagnostic Centre will thoroughly assess your child’s strengths and difficulties to not only give a diagnosis but to also advocate for their needs in school and other environments to make sure they have the right resources to thrive. 

We will do our best to support parents in understanding their child’s needs and to be able to navigate themselves in the United Kingdom Education, Health and Social Care system to advocate for their child’s rights.

We would also do our best to support each child to become more confident with recognising and understanding their diagnosis which will enable them to become more independent, and to be able to express their needs when needed. 

Our skilled and experienced multi-disciplinary professionals will assess your child’s needs and will be able to provide recommendations, support, and guidance which are not restricted to only Autism and ADHD. 

We all are unique in our own ways with different strengths and difficulties. Yet, we are all expected to think and behave in a certain way in different situations. Cultural and societal expectations make it difficult for children to live their life freely and to reach their very own unique potential. 

Due to these expectations, our children can be seen as misbehaved, disobedient, or disrespectful. They can also be seen as, ‘abnormal’ or 'ill’. At times, our children can behave in ways to avoid being seen outside the norm and expected so they behave in ways that make them look and feel ‘invisible’. All this will have  negative effects on a child’s self-esteem and confidence, which will prevent them from reaching their full potential. 

Here at the Enfield Assessment and Diagnostic Centre we believe that no child is invisible, abnormal, misbehaved or ill! We believe that every child is able to reach their potential if the right resources and environment is provided to them. 

At the Enfield Assessment and Diagnostic Centre, we will support you from the initial consultation till the end of the assessment process with respect, transparency and with your family's full involvement in the process; we greatly value everyone’s views and wishes and are committed to a collaborative assessment process.
